Entering First Grade students will need these items to be successful during the 2011-2012 school year.
* A quiet place to do homework and study/read daily
* Full size backpack (Your child needs to bring this item to school daily.)
* 2-pocket folder (Your child needs to bring this item to school daily.)
* index cards (Keep these at home to create word flash cards each week. Students will be creating over 300 flash cards this      school year. Your child should not bring these study flash cards to school.)
* pencils, crayons, glue, erasers, scissors (Keep these at home in your child's work area.)
* School uniform worn daily. Navy blue and white are right!
* Athletic shoes worn daily for exercise and safety.
